Perfume diffusion
Steven b
ABSTRACT
This experiment was to see how long
it took to diffuse perfume. What we did was we had a teacher spray perfume and
for the students to time how long it took to smell it. I thought that it
wouldn’t be the brand of perfume but the size of the spray.
Procedure
The procedure of this experiment was that we (the
class) walked into the room. Mrs. Thompson had a diagram on the board. The
class copied it onto their paper. The teacher measured a ten foot line. The
teacher stood on the 0 foot mark and the students stood at the 10 foot mark.
The teacher sprayed 2 squirts of spray and the students timed how long it took
to smell it. Then the students marked the time. They went for a walk to clear
their nose. The class did the same thing over and over. Then they started their
diagram. Then they wrote down all the steps.

Conclusion
My
hypothesis was that it wouldn’t matter the brand but the size of the 2 squirts.
Nspa was the fastest to smell but the squirts were bigger. Jlo didn’t spray so
it was disqualified. Okny and beauty rush both took the same amount of time. If
we do this experiment again we will have more body spray.
