2.) Where is your area located? include:
          -Country/Provence or State/Body of water
          -Closest Town
3.) Find a map that showcases your area.
          - Reference this image:
4.) Interesting Facts (at least 5 bullet points, max 10)
5.) What is the tidal specifics?
          - Tidal Range? (How much does it change from low to high tide?)
          -Highest Spring Tide Level?
          -Lowest Neap Tide level?
          - How Often does the tide change? (Every 24 hrs, 12 hrs, etc)
6.) Find a picture of the area.
          - Reference this image:
7.) Create a QR code that links to YouTube Video about your area.
          - Use qrstuff.com

Video All Stars

Getting it together would help make it better
We liked the comedy/entertainment
We didn't like that we couldn't retry it

What we could have done better: Timing
What we did good: Have fun!

We liked the entertainment.
We disliked the time limit.

*We have one group whose video is not completed yet, but will be shown soon!
The man is explaining what it looks like when you mix colours, like red and green, and blue and green.

Blue, green, red, yellow, white ,purple. They are taking some colours away to make different colours. I like it they are funny.

Air pressure EXPERIMENT!!!!!!!

Our class is still working on our experiment of our choice of either: pressure, viscosity, bouncy, or density.

My experiment is on air pressure. to show air pressure, I decided to to blow a paper ball into an empty 1 litter water bottle (or any bottle for that matter.). The question I'm trying to figure out is how does air pressure affect the paper ball moving?

To test this experiment I will need: -an empty 1litter bottle
-a small paper ball that's half the size of the bottles "spout"
-a pressure Gage, or a barometer, or an air compressor
To set up this experiment I will lay the bottle horizontally on a flat surface. Next I will crumple up a paper ball halve the size of the spout, and rest it in the spout. Then I will try to blow the ball into the bottle. (I already know the out-come).

Mrs. Thompson gave us this book to help plan our experiments!!
This is the cover of the book:

This is what's inside the book:
I took these pictures on Mrs. Thompson's phone. 2014. Could be found at this blog.

This is related to my experiment because it's pushing air out, and mine is the air pressure inside (his air pressure experiment is half way to the end.)

What are Fluids????????

What is a fluid?
-any substance that flows
-can be a liquid or a gas

Buoyancy: is the ability for some-thing to float in a fluid.
EG.)
-doing a hand-stand is easy to do in water because of the buoyant force.
-buoy's (in water) are called buoy's because they are buoyant.
-in a hot air balloon, the air is buoyant so it floats.
-life jacket's help lower the density of the person wearing it to help them float.

Viscosity: the measure of how fast a fluid flows, or how thick or thin it is.
EG.)
-Water vs. honey. Water has a high viscosity, honey has a low viscosity.
-Tar vs. milk. Milk has a high viscosity, honey has a low viscosity.
-Molasses vs. coffee. Coffee has a high viscosity, molasses has a low viscosity.

Density: The amount for mass (weight) in a substance. Particles are being crowded.
EG.)
- If 11 people (particles) we all in an elevator, the more mass, compared to two people (particles) in an elevator.

Pressure: is a force acting on a fluid.
EG.)
- When you take the cork out of a wine bottle, the wine comes out.

Bacterial Disease's

Today we are continuing on researching our bacterial disease's (if you click on the purple words, it will take you back to Steven's post and it will give you more information on what we had to search up). Some of the bacterial disease's we had to look up were: Leprosy (it causes damage to limbs, face, respiratory system, and blindness), leukaemia, diabetes, the black plague, rabies...etc. (I only put some information on the one because Jade and I searched it, and other groups searched the other ones.). The research part of the project is due for tomorrow, but the whole project is due on the 17-18. this project is going to be presented as either a power point, poster, prezzie, play, video, or any way we want.

P.S. Our class is trying to get 2000 viewers, and if we reach our goal we get a party, so if you know anyone how might be interested, could you PLEASE  ask them to to check it out!

OUR HEART!!!

This is our heart! We are finished and this is our final copy. We all agreed that this is the best that we could posibly do. It follows all of the standards that are needed.

( click STANDARDS THAT  to see the standards!)

BY ME!! was responsible for drawing the original copy of the heart, and labeling most of the diagrams.

Dez had drawn the rough copy of the internal part of the heart, decorated, and she also wrote down the way the blood flows.

Josee outlined the second heart of the good copy, helped colour, decorate and read the information for BY ME!! to write it down.

Landen helped colour, outline, and he read off information.
