Hey readers, we know reading out of a text book and solving questions can sometimes be boring, so we dedicaded a post to help making mah fun with games.

Video All Stars
We liked the comedy/entertainment
We didn't like that we couldn't retry it
What we could have done better: Timing
What we did good: Have fun!
We liked the entertainment.
We disliked the time limit.
*We have one group whose video is not completed yet, but will be shown soon!
The man is explaining what it looks like when you mix colours, like red and green, and blue and green.
Blue, green, red, yellow, white ,purple. They are taking some colours away to make different colours. I like it they are funny.

Centers
Today
in class we did two out of four centers, the centers were, make a movie about
colour, and the other one was Benham’s Top. Make a movie was just a movie with
background music and the four groups record their voice over one of Bill Nye’s
videos. The videos will be put on one of the next blog posts. Benham’s Top was
just cutting out a circle, half white half black. The white side had little
round lines that looked like circles when it was spun. When the disc is spun
arcs of pale colours are pattern induced, flickers are visible at the different
places on the disc. Each person had seen a different colour, because no one has
the same type of eyes. One person saw red and purple, another saw blue on the
outside but brown in the middle, and someone else saw blue on the outside and
red in the middle. If it does not work with the paper, go to Wikipedia under
Benham’s Top.

Starting the display
Today in class the kids that had already done their experiment were starting their display of the experiment. Those who were not done their experient were collecting their data or finding materials for their display. This is the link for some examples of display boards.--------------------------------->https://www.google.ca/search?q=science+display+boards&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=lycWU8e8LI-IogS59YCwDQ&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=927#imgdii=_

Viscosity
Today we went to the computer lab to use the virtual lab in the previous post. We were measuring the viscosity of different fluids, water, honey, olive oil, ethanol, and corn syrup. Then we changed the temperature we used: Low 14 Celsius, medium 55 Celsius, and the high 70 Celsius. Then we dropped a steel ball to test the viscosity. Below are the results.
Water: 14 Celsius low viscosity, 55 Celsius high viscosity, 70 Celsius high viscosity
Honey:14 Celsius low viscosity, 55 Celsius low viscosity, 70 Celsius high viscosity
Olive Oil: 14 Celsius low viscosity, 55 Celsius low viscosity, 70 Celsius high viscosity
Ethanol: 14 Celsius high viscosity, 55 Celsius high viscosity, 70 Celsius high viscosity
Corn Syrup:14 Celsius low viscosity, 55 Celsius high viscosity, 70 Celsius high viscosity
As a class we asked a question and it was does the temperature affect the viscosity. By the results we got we found out that yes the temperature does affect the viscosity. My hypothesis was yes the temperature does affect the temperature, and my partner (Emma) got the same hypothesis.

Disease Project
Today in class we started a research project about diseases. We all chose a partner and then we chose a disease to research. We have to find out what causes the disease and then what kind of disease. What part of the body it affects, find images of the disease affecting the body. What are the side affects, what can be done to prevent the disease. What are the treatments for the disease, how does someone find out they have the disease. What are five interesting facts about the disease, find a picture of what the disease is.

Today we made edible cells. Their was four groups, two groups made animal cells and the other two made plant cells. We used cool whipped cream x2, cookies, licorice, mints, jelly donuts, fruit gushers x2, kit kat x3, sour patch kids, fruit roll ups, icingx2 and gummy worms.
These are the photos:
